4 weeks old!

It's hard to believe that Jordan is 4 weeks old. Oh where has the time gone. He has his one month appointment tomorrow. So to celebrate, Jordan and Shawna are watching Dancing with the Stars. Jordan is enjoying the light from the TV while Shawna is actually enjoying the show.

Father Son Time

It is so cute when Jordan and Mark hang out. I love seeing Mark holding Jordan and singing and talking to him. It is just darn adorable! We also had one of our students come over and fix us dinner. Jordan didn't know what to think of her.

Just Hanging Out

So Jordan and I get a lot of time to just hang out these days. Here are some rare pictures of him just chillin, not sleeping or eating, just hangin with mom!

So tired

So today Jordan took a couple of naps in the morning and then decided he had enough sleep. He was up all afternoon and into the evening. He was happy for a while but then was not so happy. I'm sooooo tired. Uncle Chris came to visit and took over the holding of Jordan and then Mark got back from baseball practice and I layed down for awhile. We did happily watch K-State beat up on Oklahoma State.

Is it safe?

Well today Jordan and I ventured out of the house for the first time since coming home from the hospital. He did a lot better than I did. I called my sister on the way to Manhattan to destress since I couldn't see Jordan to be sure he was fine while I was driving. We decided I needed to invest in one of those mirrors that allows me to see him while driving. We did go to his one week appointment with Dr. Hinken. Jordan weighs 6 lbs and 12 ozs and is still 21.5 inches long. His weight is at the 15th percentile while is height is at the 87th percentile. He was healthy and doing well. Jordan and I then ventured to Target to get a few things including a car mirror. Then we journeyed to St. Isidore's to drop some things off and we were there for at least an hour visiting with people. Then Sandy came over and I went to lunch with Sandy and Emily. It was great to see people during the day to visit with. Jordan slept through all of this except the Dr.'s visit. He has had a great day though. He is continuing to be as cute as can be and his facial expressions are always fun to see!

Missing grandma already

Jordan is missing his Grammy Pammy already! He stayed up all day and didn't sleep a whole lot today. I am definitely tired. I am also very glad my mother is not nearby when she reads this, as Jordan might be without a mother. Jordan did sleep all but an hour last night though. Tonight may be a different story.

Mark had parent teacher conferences tonight and so Sandy came over to keep me company. With my mom and dad gone, it gets lonely when you are here by yourself with a one week old. While Sandy was here, we gave Jordan a bath. He has not yet realized that those are nice and fun.

Ahhh...

Jordan slept for several hours last night. I'm so happy I got rest. Thank goodness grandma was here to watch him last night. He is also finally asleep in the cradle that my dad made him. He is also enjoying grandpa time.

Finally Here!

Our son is finally here. We want to welcome Jordan Robert O'Halloran to the world!
