Not a fun weekend

Saturday night we took Alex into the ER due to some troubling symptoms. He was ok then but he starting throwing up everything Sunday morning so we took him back. He was admitted for dehydration and was on an iv for over 12 hours. He gained back about 2 pounds in fluids but didn't eat anything for almost 24 hours. He was not a happy camper. We finally got to come home tonight and he is much happier and healthier than he was this weekend. Now mom and dad need to recover!

First week

Jordan started preschool this week and loves it. He goes in the morning everyday and in a class with his 2 friends from daycare. Then the kids get on the bus and ride back to daycare for lunch.

I leave the room for a second and I come back to this cute sight. Do you think it will last the next 18 years?

Summer fun

So we haven't updated in a while. Super busy at our house. We are off school but mark is working full time this summer. The boys are growing fast. Alex is already walking.

Nap time

So Jordan has wanted me to lay down with him to go.to sleep many times. All too often I fall asleep. I will tell Jordan I'll lay down for two minutes and wake up an hour later. Well, today Jordan wanted daddy (since I wouldn't let him watch TV). I went in to get the laundry and the picture tells the rest of the story. It's not easy to stay awake with a snuggling little boy (or baby penguin pillow).

Happy valentines day

Mark surprised me with this beautiful bouquet of flowers at work. This is the first time I have ever gotten flowers at work. This has definitely started my day with a bright spot! Thanks to the best husband ever.

So I found this idea on pinterst that I have been really wanting to try. It is a cardboard kitchen. Ever since Jordan helped me make brownies he has been wanting to cook. We have Easter eggs with pennies so he can crack eggs and cook. Well since I stayed home with the boys today. Jordan and I made this set while alex was sleeping. They aren't pretty but Jordan was pretty much grabbing the stuff out of my arms while I was making it. What a fun craft project that Jordan is loving so far.

There is no stopping him now!

Alex is crawling! It is an army crawl but he is definitely getting around. We are having to watch the boys carefully as they now "fight" over toys and jordan wants to wrestle with alex. Jordan doesn't understand that alex just grabs everything and it is not an invitation to wrestle.

It's only a matter of time

Alex REALLY wants to crawl. He's not sitting up but I'm sure he will be crawling before long. He can get up on all fours. He is growing up so fast. He's just over five months old.
