8 days and counting

So the year has gone amazingly fast. Which is good, I'm already looking forward to summer! Anyway, as I said for a fast year, the last two weeks before Christmas are soooooo ssssllllooooowwww. I'm looking forward to no students, no work, no "thinking", and only playing!!! Bring on the nephews!

How long is this season?

So we are now in the playoff of football. I enjoyed my short season but then Mark continues to coach football. They see to always win so we are still in the playoffs. And of course if they win win, they will be at the state tournament in Hays on Thanksgiving weekend. It would be a fun family affair to drive down and watch Mark....coach. As always, school could be better if it weren't for the fact there were always students present. There are always those students that you wonder if they are ever gone. Ahh such is life!

It's Over!!!

Can I just say that the drama of volleyball is over and thank goodness! Freedom!!!! Really even though volleyball is over, I still don't know where that extra time is. I have not had a moment of free time. Come back time!!!

Shortest but longest

So I thought that the volleyball season for Junior high is short. You can't actually say that until you have coached a bunch of junior high girls. It is a long season with the drama! I have never dealt with such an unfocused boy-crazy bunch of girls on a team. I'm ready for the end of the season to say the least!

Sport seasons are CrAzY

So Mark is coaching High School football and I am coaching Jr. High Volleyball. I never knew a family could be so busy. Well, that is not exactly true, but who am I to judge. We have HS games on Mon and Fri and Jr. High games Mon, thurs, and some Sat. It is exhausting. We get to see each other pretty much Tuesday and Wednesday when nothing else is going on. Can I also say that coaching Jr. High girls is an experience. Drama Drama Drama. And add boys to the drama and it's enough to drive a person batty!

So I am trying my hand at blogging after seeing how cool my sister's is. This seems the easiest way to keep people up to date on life and stuff.
